The opening bout of the Bellator 103 main card was a light heavyweight bout as Mikhail Zayats only needed 47 seconds to defeat Aaron Rosa by kimura submission in the first round.
The fight opened with Rosa landing a combination, but Zayats immediately took the fight to the ground. Once on the ground, Zayats went straight for a kimura submission and Rosa would tap out.
Zayats (22-7) has now won three of his four fights in Bellator and all of his wins have come in the first round. His last two wins in Bellator have come by submission, and this is his eleventh career win by submission.
