Nick Newell vs. Sabah Fadai official for World Series of Fighting 7

A lightweight bout is now official for World Series of Fighting 7 in Vancouver as Nick Newell will look to remain undefeated when he takes on Canadian Sabah Fadai.WSOF 7 Poster

The fight was officially announced by World Series of Fighting officials on Thursday and this fight will be one of the four fights on the main card broadcast on NBC SN.

World Series of Fighting 7 takes place on December 7th from the PNE Agrodome in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and will be headlined by a light heavyweight bout as Anthony Johnson meets Mike Kyle.

Newell (10-0) made his debut with the World Series of Fighting earlier this year as he defeated Keon Caldwell by submission in the first round. It was his second straight win by submission in the first round, and nine of his ten wins have come in the opening round.

“I’m so honored to be part of WSOF’s first event in Canada,” said Newell. The opportunity to grow with this company on an international level is amazing. I’m expecting Fadai to bring it, and I can’t wait to have my arm raised Dec. 7.”

Fadai (7-2, 1NC) will be making his World Series of Fighting debut in this fight and is 5-1, 1NC in his last seven fights. All of his victories have come by stoppage with his last two wins coming by submission.
