The Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale takes place on Saturday night in Las Vegas and the UFC has added a women’s bout to the card as Team Rousey fighters will meet as Jessamyn Duke faces Peggy Morgan.
UFC officials announced the fight booking on Monday and they also revealed that nearly all of the women that took part in this season of the reality show will compete on the live finale. The only females that will not be on Saturday’s card will be Shayna Baszler and Sarah Moras. Both are injured and are expected to be placed on a future UFC fight card.
The Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale takes place on Saturday from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas and will be headlined a trilogy bout as Gray Maynard meets Nate Diaz.
Duke (2-0, 1NC) was eliminated by Raquel Pennington in the quarterfinals of this tournament and what most people consider the best fight during the reality show. Prior to entering TUF, both of her wins had come by stoppage and all of her fights were in Invicta FC.
Morgan (2-0) turned professional last year and both of her wins have come by decision. She was also eliminated in the quarterfinals of TUF as she was submitted in the first round by Moras.
