Shane Del Rosario and Guto Inocente have both suffered undisclosed injuries and their scheduled heavyweight bout at UFC 168 has been scratched from the card.
UFC officials announced the change on Thursday and the fight card will go forward with eleven bouts.
UFC 168 takes place on December 28th from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and will be headlined by Chris Weidman defending the UFC middleweight title against Anderson Silva.
Inocente (6-2) was scheduled to make his UFC debut in this bout and is currently on a four fight winning streak. He is a former Strikeforce fighter and is only fight in Strikeforce came in May of 2012 as he defeated Virgil Zwicker by unanimous decision in a light heavyweight bout.
Del Rosario (11-2) is also a former Strikeforce fighter and has dropped back to back fights since coming to the UFC. Both of his defeats in the UFC have come by TKO/KO in the second round and his last win took place in 2011 against Lavar Johnson.
