The Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale Weigh-Ins took place on Friday afternoon in Las Vegas and the fight card is now official with ten fights.
The weigh-ins took place from the Mandalay Bay Events Center and the same venue will host tomorrow nights fight card.
The card will be headlined by a lightweight bout between top ten fighters as #5 Gray Maynard (156 lbs) meets #8 Nate Diaz (156 lbs) in a scheduled three round bout. This will be the third time they will meet as Diaz won the first meeting by submission during The Ultimate Fighter 5 and Maynard won the rematch by split decision at UFC Fight Night 20.
The main card on Fox Sports 1 will also feature of the finals of the reality show as Juliana Pena (135 lbs) faces Jessica Rakoczy (135 lbs) in the women’s final, and Chris Holdsworth (135 lbs) squares off against David Grant (135 lbs) in the men’s final.
The only fighter that was unable to make weight was preliminary card fighter Josh Sampo. He weighed in at 127.5 pounds for his flyweight bout against Ryan Benoit. He did not attempt to lose the additional weight and his fight with Benoit will now be a catchweight bout. Sampo will be fined 10 percent by the Nevada State Athletic Commission for missing weight and 5 percent of his fine will go to Benoit.
