Kevin Lee makes UFC debut against Al Iaquinta at UFC 169

A lightweight bout has been added to UFC 169 in New Jersey as UFC newcomer Kevin Lee will meet Ultimate Fighter alum Al Iaquinta. UFC 169

UFC officials announced the fight booking on Thursday after it was initially reported by Newsday.

UFC 169 takes place on February 1st from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey and will be headline by Dominick Cruz meeting Renan Barao in a bantamweight title unification bout.

Lee (6-0) turned professional last year and his last three wins have come by submission. He is coming off a 46 second victory over Travis Gervais at Canadian Fighting Championship 8 and it was his first victory to happen in the first round.

Iaquinta (7-2-1) was a finalist during The Ultimate Fighter 15 and has won back to back fights since losing in the reality show finale. Both of those wins have come by decision and his most recent win came at UFC Fight Night 30 against Piotr Hallmann.
