A middleweight bout has been added to the UFC London card on March 8th as Ultimate Fighter 17 alum Luke Barnatt will meet UFC newcomer Mats Nilsson.
UFC officials announced the fight booking on Tuesday and the bout will likely be placed on the preliminary card.
The UFC fight card in London on March 8th will come from the O2 Arena in London and will be headlined by a light heavyweight bout as Alexander Gustafsson meets Jimi Manuwa.
Barnatt (7-0) was a member of Team Sonnen during The Ultimate Fighter 17 and has gone 2-0 in the UFC. He is coming off a rear-naked choke submission victory at UFC Fight Night 30 against Andrew Craig. It was his third victory to come by submission and all of those wins have been by rear-naked choke.
Nilsson (11-2-1) comes to the UFC after winning back to back fights in the European promotion Cage Warriors. He has won seven of his last eight fights and the only defeat in this period has come against current UFC fighter Tor Troeng.
