Sean Soriano signs with UFC and replaces an injured Hacran Dias against Tatsuya Kawajiri at UFC Fight Night 34

Tatsuya Kawajiri has a new opponent for UFC Fight Night 34 as he will meet UFC newcomer Sean Soriano, who replaces an injured Hacran Dias. UFC Fight Night 34 Poster

The new fight booking was made official by the UFC on Thursday and the bout is expected to be the co-main event of the fight card.

UFC Fight Night 34 will take place on January 4th from the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore and will be headlined by a welterweight bout as Tarec Saffiedine meets Hyun Gyu Lim.

Soriano (8-0) is a member of the Blackzilians and six of his eight wins have come by stoppage. His last three fights have come in the Florida based promotion Championship Fighting Alliance, including decision victories in his last two fights.

Kawajiri (32-7-2) has won five in a row since his exit from Strikeforce and three of those fights came in Dream. His last fight took place at the end of last year when he defeated former UFC fighter Michihiro Omigawa by unanimous decision at Dream 18.
