The UFC announced the change on Wednesday after it was reported by several media outlets.

UFC on FOX 9 will come from the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, California on December 14th and will be headlined by Demetrious Johnson defending the UFC flyweight title against Joseph Benavidez.

Makovsky (16-4) was released from Bellator following his defeat against Anthony Leone at the end of last year. Following the bout, he dropped down to the flyweight division and has won back to back fights. He recently won the vacant RFA flyweight title when he defeated Matt Manzanares by unanimous decision.

Jorgensen (14-7) has been defeated in three of his last four fights and his last victory came at UFC on FOX 7 against John Albert. He won that fight by submission in the first round and he won the submission and fight of the night bonus. His most recent bout came at The Ultimate Fighter 17 finale and he lost by submission to Urijah Faber.
