A featherweight bout has been officially added to UFC 172 on April 26th in Baltimore as Max Holloway will meet Andre Fili.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Wednesday and the bout will be placed on the preliminary card.
UFC 172 will take place from the Baltimore Arena on April 26th and will be headlined by Jon Jones defending the UFC light heavyweight title against Glover Teixeira.
Holloway (8-3) has been in the UFC since 2012 and has won four of his seven fights in the UFC. He is coming off a TKO victory at UFC Fight Night 34 against Will Chope and he won the knockout of the night bonus. The victory snapped a two fight losing streak and it was his first victory since UFC 155 at the end of 2012.
Fili (13-1) is a member of Team Alpha Male and made his UFC debut in October. In his debut at UFC 166, he defeated Jeremy Larsen by TKO in the second round. It was his ninth straight victory and three of his last five wins have come by TKO.
