According to Nielsen sources, the preliminary overnight ratings (which will fluctuate since it was a live event) for the World Series of Fighting 8 event reached 212,000 total viewers.

World Series of Fightings last event, WSOF 7, drew a series low of only 94,000 total viewers, so this weekends show was up dramatically from that and was WSOF’s highest since WSOF 5  which hit 227,000 viewers.

Thankfully for the World Series of Fighting, Saturday was the perfect night to be on television as no real direct competition was around.  Something they have been bitten before on, such as nights when they went head-to-head with major College Football and reruns of the UFC on Fox Sports 1.
