The fifth episode of The Ultimate Fighter Nations premiered last night on Fox Sports 1 and featured Team Australia’s Richard Walsh defeating Matt Desroches of Team Canada.
According to Nielsen sources, Wednesday night’s fifth episode landed at 187,000 total viewers.
Last week’s episode was the highest rated show of the season (384k) and last night’s episode was down 49.5% from last week. Overall, this version of the international reality show is averaging 260,400 viewers and it should be noted that episode three of the season appeared on Fox Sports 2 with an audience of 107,000 viewers.
When it came to the competition, the big winner of the night was the Winter Olympic coverage on NBC with over 20 million viewers. The Olympic coverage ran from 8 p.m. ET – 11 p.m. ET and during the 10 p.m. ET time slot, Nashville on ABC scored 2.23 million viewers.
On the cable side, the night was won by an episode of Family Guy on Adult Swim as they had 2.6 million viewers and had a 1.3 share in the adult 18-49 demo. Other top shows on Wednesday night were multiple episodes of The Big Bang Theory on TBS and American Dad on Adult Swim.
