Heavyweight Tournament Semifinals headline Bellator 116 on April 11th

Bellator will be returning to the Pechanga Resort and Casino on April 11th for Bellator 116 and the fight card will be headlined by the semifinals of the season ten heavyweight tournament.Bellator 116

In the co-main event, former Bellator champion Alexander Volkov (19-4) will look to get one step closer to reclaiming the title as he meets Mighty Mo Siliga (6-2) and the other semifinal will be the main event as Lavar Johnson (18-8) faces undefeated Bulgarian Blagoi Ivanov (10-0).

Also on the main card will be the second welterweight tournament semifinal as Adam McDonough (10-0) will look to remain undefeated as he meets Nathan Coy (14-4). The winner of the fight will move onto the finals and face the winner of the Andrey Koreshkov vs. Sam Oropeza, which will take place at Bellator 115.

The preliminary card will be streamed live on Spike TV beginning at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT and this portion of the card will be headlined by Joe Taimanglo (19-5-1) dropping down to the bantamweight division to meet Rob Emerson (15-10).

Also on the prelims, top Bellator prospect Brandon Halsey (5-0) is dropping down to the middleweight division to face Joe Pacheco (7-1), Philipe Lins (7-1) makes his Bellator debut against Travis Clark (7-2), and season nine welterweight tournament finalist Ron Keslar (11-5) meets Karo Parisyan (22-10).
