Legacy FC bantamweight champion Matt Hobar has signed with the UFC and he will make his debut against Pedro Munhoz at The Ultimate Fighter Brazil 3 Finale on May 31st.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Tuesday.
The Ultimate Fighter Brazil 3 will take place on May 31st at the Ibirapuera Gymnasium in Sao Paulo, Brazil and will be headlined by Junior dos Santos meeting Stipe Miocic in a scheduled five round heavyweight bout.
Hobar (8-1) won the Legacy FC bantamweight title last year and is currently on a three fight winning streak. Four of his career victories have come by submission, including a first round rear-naked choke against Angel Huerta in his last fight.
Munhoz (10-1) made his UFC debut at the beginning of the year as he faced Raphael Assunacao on short notice. He would end up losing the fight by unanimous decision and it was his first career defeat.
