A middleweight bout has been added to UFC 175 as Ultimate Fighter 17 finalist Uriah Hall will look for back to back wins as he faces Thiago Santos.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Tuesday.
UFC 175 takes place on July 5th from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas and will be headlined by Chris Weidman defending the UFC middleweight title against Lyoto Machida.
Hall (8-4) snapped a two fight losing streak in December when he scored his first official UFC victory as he defeated Chris Leben by TKO at the end of the first round. It was his first victory since June of 2012 and all of his professional victories have come by stoppage.
Santos (9-2) entered the UFC last year and was defeated by Cezar Ferreira at UFC 163 in his debut. He returned at UFC Fight Night 38 two weeks ago and defeated Ronny Markes by TKO in the first round.
The current UFC 175: Weidman vs. Machida fight card is below.
Chris Weidman (11-0) vs. Lyoto Machida (21-4)
Uriah Hall (8-4) vs. Thiago Santos (9-2)
