The UFC will return to Atlantic City on July 16th for a UFC Fight Night card and the event will be headlined by a lightweight bout as Donald Cerrone meets Jim Miller in a battle of top ten UFC lightweights.
The fight booking was announced by the Press of Atlantic City on late Thursday night and immediately confirmed by the UFC.
Cerrone (23-6, 1NC) has won three fights in a row since losing to Rafael dos Anjos last year. His last victory came just a couple of weeks ago as he submitted Edson Barboza in the first round and won a performance of the night bonus for the submission.
Miller (24-4, 1NC) is coming off a submission victory at last week’s UFC 172 against Yancy Medeiros and it was his second straight victory. He is unbeaten in his last four fights and his last two victories have come by submission.
UFC Fight Night Atlantic City will come from the Revel Casino and ticket information will be released shortly by the UFC.
