A welterweight bout has been added to UFC Fight Night on July 16th in Atlantic City as John Howard has verbally agreed to meet Rick Story.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Sunday.
UFC Fight Night Atlantic City will come from the Ovation Hall inside the Revel Casino and will be headlined by Donald Cerrone meeting Jim Miller in a five round lightweight bout.
Howard (22-9) returned to the UFC last year and scored back to back victories over Uriah Hall and Siyar Bahadurzada. His winning streak would be snapped at UFC Fight Night 39 last month when he lost a decision to Ryan LaFlare.
Story (16-8) has been in the UFC since 2009 and is 3-3 in his last six fights. His last appearance in the octagon came in March as he lost a split decision to Kelvin Gastelum and it was his third straight fight that went the distance.
