A featherweight bout has been booked for UFC Fight Night 44 in San Antonio on June 28th as former title challenger Ricardo Lamas will face Hacran Dias.
UFC officials announced the fight booking on Sunday.
UFC Fight Night 44 will come from the AT&T Center and will be headlined by Cub Swanson meeting Jeremy Stephens in a scheduled five round featherweight bout.
Lamas (13-3) challenged Jose Aldo at the beginning of this year for the UFC featherweight title and was defeated by unanimous decision. The defeat snapped a four fight winning streak and it was his first lost since 2010.
Dias (21-2-1) will be stepping into the octagon for the first time in over a year in this bout as his last fight came at UFC on FX 8 against Nik Lentz. He was defeated by decision in that fight and it snapped a nine fight winning streak.
