Jerrod Sanders signs with the UFC, replaces an injured Leo Kuntz against Yosdenis Cedeno at UFC Fight Night 45

An undisclosed injury has forced Leo Kuntz to pull out of his UFC Fight Night 45 bout against Yosdenis Cedeno and replacing Kuntz in the bout will be Jerrod Sanders.

The fight change was announced by the UFC on Monday evening and a UFC official confirmed to TheMMAReport.com that Kuntz pulled out of the fight with an injury.

UFC Fight Night 45 will come from the Ovation Hall inside the Revel Casino on July 16th and will be headlined by Donald Cerrone meeting Jim Miller in a five round lightweight bout.

Sanders (14-1) is currently on a twelve fight winning streak and was scheduled to meet Alexandre Pimental on Saturday afternoon at World Series of Fighting 11. TheMMAReport.com learned following the UFC announcement that Sanders was released from his contract with the World Series of Fighting and Pimental will not receive a new opponent for Saturday’s card.

Cedeno (9-3) lost his UFC debut in February against Ernest Chavez and the defeat snapped a six fight winning streak. Six of his nine professional victories have come by TKO/KO and two of his three defeats are by decision.
