The eleventh season of Bellator will kick off on September 5th from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut and the promotion has announced the complete fourteen fight card.
Bellator previously announced the four fights that will be part of the main card broadcast on Spike TV and will be headlined by a rematch as Pat Curran defends the featherweight title against Patricio Pitbull.
The preliminary card will be streamed on Spike.com and a start time for the preliminary card was not announced by Bellator today in a press release. The ten fight preliminary card will feature several fighters who have previously competed in Bellator and local fighters from the Connecticut and Massachusetts area.
Season eight middleweight tournament winner Brennan Ward will be part of the preliminary card and he was initially scheduled to face James Irvin. However, Ward will now take on former UFC fighter Tamdan McCrory and Bellator has not officially stated why Irvin is no longer on the card. Other notable fighters on the preliminary card include Steve Garcia, Dan Cramer, Mike Mucitelli, Matt Bessette, and Scott Cleve.
