The main event of The Ultimate Fighter 19 Finale on Sunday night in Las Vegas was a trilogy matchup as Frankie Edgar scored his third victory against BJ Penn.
Edgar was able to use his striking to set up his takedowns and he would end up getting the stoppage in the third round when referee Herb Dean decided to call the fight.

And a giant shower of boos for Frankie Edgar – no reflection on him, but I think just the overall love for “Baby Jay.”

Penn’s like Larusso trying to catch the fly with the chopsticks right now.

Would not be surprised to see Edgar finish Penn here.

BJ Penn looks like a bag of milk that has a sad, restless, ancient demon spirit trapped inside it.

Frankie Edgar is just mauling BJ Penn right now. I’d pick this Frankie to beat Aldo with this kind of strategy #TUFFinale

I’ve seen enough.

I think BJ’s corner should stop this.

We really don’t need to see anymore of this.

And it’s over. Frankie Edgar stops BJ Penn with strikes in the third round. Completely one-sided fight. Not even close.

Frankie Edgar calls it a “bittersweet victory.” Says he almost feels bad about it.

Dana came back to hear Penn speak, touched his heart and applauded after his speech.
