The flyweight bout between Zach Makovsky and Jussier Formiga initially scheduled to take place at UFC 176 was been moved to UFC Fight Night 47 in Maine.
UFC officials announced the change on late Tuesday evening.
UFC Fight Night 47 will come from the Cross Insurance Center on August 16th and will be headlined by a light heavyweight bout as Ryan Bader meets Ovince St. Preux.
Makovsky (18-4) has won four straight since being released by Bellator and two of those wins have come in the UFC. His most recent win came in February as he defeated Josh Sampo by unanimous decision at UFC 170.
Formiga (16-3) entered the UFC as one of the top flyweight fighters in the world and has gone 2-2 in the organization. His last appearance in the octagon came at UFC Fight Night 38 against Scott Jorgensen and won by submission in the first round.
