An undisclosed injury has caused Andre Fili to pull out of his UFC Fight Night 50 bout against Sean Soriano and replacing him will be Chas Skelly.
The fight change was announced by the UFC on Tuesday evening.
UFC Fight Night 50 will come from the Foxwoods Casino in Ledyard, Connecticut on September 5th and will be headlined by a middleweight bout as Gegard Mousasi meets Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza.
Skelly (12-1) is coming off a submission win at last weekend’s UFC Fight Night 49 as he defeated Tom Niinimaki in the first round. The victory marked his seventh career win by submission and first win in the UFC.
Soriano (8-1) made his UFC debut at the beginning of the year and was defeated by Tatsuya Kawajiri at UFC Fight Night 34. Before entering the UFC, six of his eights wins came by stoppage and four of those wins came in the first round.
