Bellator 127 Medical Suspensions: Rob Emerson among fighters facing six month term

The medical suspensions for Bellator 127 have been released by the California State Athletic Commission and Rob Emerson is one of four fighters facing a suspension of six months. Rafael Silva VS Rob Emerson

The commission recently released the medical suspensions and the suspensions were forwarded to TheMMAReport.com after they were requested.

Bellator 127 took place earlier this month at the Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, California and was headlined by Daniel Straus defeating Justin Wilcox in 50-seconds.

Every fighter on the card received the mandatory suspension of seven days, which the California State Athletic Commission always hands out and the potential six month suspensions went to Emerson, Fernando Gonzalez, Nick Moghaddam, and Keith Berry.

  • Justin Wilcox: Suspended 45 days and no contact for 30 days (KO)
  • Fernando Gonzalez: Suspended 180 days and no contact for 180 days or cleared by doctor (possible fracture to right wrist); 7-Day Mandatory Suspension
  • Karo Parisyan: Suspended 45 days and no contact for 30 days (KO)
  • Rafael Silva: 7-Day Mandatory Suspension
  • Rob Emerson: Suspended 180 days and no contact for 180 days or cleared by doctor (possible fracture to right ankle)
  • Kendall Grove: 7-Day Mandatory Suspension
  • Christian M’Pumbu: 7-Day Mandatory Suspension

  • David Duran: Suspended 45 days and no contact for 30 days (KO)
  • Ray Sloan: 7-Day Mandatory Suspension
  • Nick Moghaddam: Suspended 180 days and no contact for 180 days or cleared by doctor (possible fractured rotator cuff); 7-Day Mandatory Suspension
