Five reasons to watch Bellator 128: Dantas vs. Warren

Bellator 128 will take place tonight at the WinStar World Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma and will be headlined by a bantamweight title unification bout as Eduardo Dantas meets Joe Warren. B128 WI

In addition to the title fight, the main card on Spike TV will see undefeated welterweight Michael Page look for his third win in the promotion as he meets Nah-Shon Burrell.

The event will kick off with the online preliminary card at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT right here on TheMMAReport.com and the main card will begin at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.

Below is five reasons why you should tune into Spike TV tonight for Bellator 128.

1. Bantamweight title unification bout
The unified Bellator bantamweight championship will be decided tonight as Eduardo Dantas returns from injury and will make his third title defense against interim champion Joe Warren. Both of them fighters have gone back and fourth on social media and they will be able to settle their differences in the cage tonight.

2. Michael Page
I have called Michael Page must-watch television due to his unique fighting style. He will get a step up in competition tonight when he faces former tournament participant Nah-Shon Burrell. Page is not going to change the way he fights and no matter what happens tonight with him, it’s going to be an entertaining fight and will likely be the talk of the mixed martial arts community.

3. Alexander Sarnavskiy
The man known as “Tiger” returns to the Bellator cage after winning three fights outside of the promotion and this will be his first fight in Bellator since losing to Will Brooks last year in the tournament final. His opponent will be Dakota Cochrane and this is the third opponent Sarnavskiy has been booked for this card.

4. Bubba McDaniel
While I understand that many mixed martial arts fans do not like McDaniel, he has won three in a row since exiting the UFC. Do I dare say, McDaniel is “in the mix” in the Bellator middleweight division? Why that may seem crazy, it really is not. An impressive performance by him could but him in a line for a title shot against Brandon Halsey.

5. Stephen Banaszak
You are probably saying, who is Stephen Banaszak? He is a featherweight that has gone 1-1 in the promotion and both of those fights have ended in the first round. Why am I mentioning him, since he is on the preliminary card? The reason I have him this list is what he tweeted to TheMMAReport.com yesterday after the weigh-ins.

Banaszak has my attention and let’s see if he can live up to his promise about this being the fight of the night. TheMMAReport.com will have coverage of Bellator 128 beginning with the online preliminary card at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT.
