Undefeated heavyweight Jared Cannonier has signed with the UFC and he will make his promotional debut on January 3rd in Las Vegas at UFC 182 against Shawn Jordan.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Thursday.
UFC 182 will come from the MGM Grand Garden Arena on January 3rd and will be headlined by Jon Jones defending the UFC light heavyweight title against Daniel Cormier.
Cannonier (7-0) has won six of his seven fights by stoppage and five of those victories have come in the first round. His only fight this year came in January as he defeated Tony Lopez by split decision at AFC 104.
Jordan (16-6) has gone 4-3 since entering the UFC in 2012 and all of his victories in the UFC have come by TKO/KO. After losing back to back fights, he scored a victory in his last fight as he defeated Jack May at UFC Fight Night 47.
