The latest fight booking for UFC 182 on January 3rd in Las Vegas is a flyweight bout as Louis Gaudinot will meet Kyoji Horiguchi in a bout likely to be place on the preliminary card.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on late Thursday evening.
UFC 182 will come from the MGM Grand Garden Arena on January 3rd and will be headlined by Jon Jones defending the UFC light heavyweight title against Daniel Cormier.
Gaudinot (6-3, 1NC) has gone 1-2, 1NC since entering the UFC through The Ultimate Fighter 14 and his last fight took place in March against Phil Harris. He initially won the fight against Harris, but it was overturned to a no-contest when Gaudinot tested positive for a banned substance. He was scheduled to return earlier this month, but an injury forced him out of UFC Fight Night 54.
Horiguchi (14-1) is currently on a eight fight winning streak and three of those wins have come in the UFC. After winning his UFC debut at bantamweight, he dropped down to flyweight and has defeated Darrell Montague and Jon Delos Reyes.
