RFA middleweight champion Jake Collier signs with UFC, meets Vitor Miranda at UFC Fight Night 58

RFA middleweight champion Jake Collier is the latest RFA fighter to sign with the UFC as he will make his promotional debut at UFC Fight Night 58 against Vitor Miranda. UFC-Fight-Night-Logo

While the fight booking has not been officially announced by the UFC, Collier confirmed the fight on his Twitter account.

UFC Fight Night 58 is expected to come from the Jose Correa Arena in Barueri, Sao Paulo, Brazil on December 20th and will be headlined by Lyoto Machida facing C.B. Dollaway in a middleweight bout.

Collier (8-1) is currently on a five fight winning streak and he won the RFA middleweight title last week when he defeated Gabriel Checco by submission at RFA 19. Seven of his eight wins have come by stoppage and his last two wins have come by submission in the first round.

Miranda (9-4) was a heavyweight on The Ultimate Fighter 3 and is dropping down two weight divisions to the middleweight division for this fight. Prior to losing his official UFC debut in May, he has won four in a row and all of those victories came by stoppage.
