Sergio Pettis will be joining his brother, Anthony Pettis on the UFC 181 card on December 6th in Las Vegas as he will meet Matt Hobar in a bantamweight bout.
UFC officials announced the fight booking on late Thursday evening.
UFC 181 will come from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas and will be headlined by a title rematch as Johny Hendricks defends the UFC welterweight title against Robby Lawler.
Pettis (11-1) has won two of his three fights in the UFC since entering the promotion last year. Both of his victories in the UFC have come by unanimous decision and his most recent win came in June at UFC Fight Night 42 against Yaotzin Meza.
Hobar (9-2) made his UFC debut back in May at The Ultimate Fighter Brazil 3 Finale and was defeated by Pedro Munhoz. He returned in August at UFC Fight Night 49 and scored his fourth career victory by decision as he defeated Aaron Phillips.
