World Series of Fighting 14 took place on Saturday night at the Edmonton Expo Centre in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and the main card on NBCSN was headlined by Jake Shields submitting Ryan Ford in the first round. 
Also on the main card, Smealinho Rama won the inaugural heavyweight title as he defeated Derrick Mehman in 51-seconds.

- Shields scored his first submission victory since 2009 with a rear-naked choke win over Ford and is now 4-1, 1NC in his last six fights.
- Ford has now been submitted in four of his five career defeats.
- Rama’s 51-second victory is the fastest win in WSOF heavyweight competition and 5th fastest TKO/KO win overall.
- Rama is now tied with Andrei Arlovski for second most wins in heavyweight division history.
- The defeat for Mehman snaps a six fight winning streak and this is his first career defeat by TKO/KO.
- Chris Horodecki won his promotional debut with a decision win over Luis Huete and he is 3-1 in his last four fights.
- Jared Hamman snapped a three fight losing streak with a TKO win over Luke Harris and this is his first win since beating C.B. Dollaway at UFC on Versus 5 (8/14/11).
- Tim Hague defeated Craig Hudson in a catchweight bout of 276 pounds and he has now won three in a row.
- Hakeem Dawodu remained undefeated with a first round TKO victory against Mike Malott and all three of his victories have come by TKO/KO.
