A bantamweight bout was recently added to the UFC 182 card on January 3rd in Las Vegas as Marcus Brimage will look for his second straight win as he meets UFC newcomer Cody Garbrandt.
The fight booking was recently added to the official fight card on the UFC website.
UFC 182 will come from the MGM Grand Garden Arena on January 3rd and will be headlined by Jon Jones defending the UFC light heavyweight title against Daniel Cormier.
Brimage (7-3) is coming off a knockout win at UFC Fight Night 55 against Jumabieke Tuerxun and the victory snapped a two fight losing streak. It was his first win in over two years as his previous win came at UFC 152 against Jimy Hettes in September of 2012.
Garbrandt (5-0) has won all of his fights by TKO/KO and this will be his UFC debut. Four of his five wins have come in the first round and his most recent win came in October against Charles Stanford at NAAFS: Rock N Rumble 8.
