Mark Munoz vs. Caio Magalhaes set for UFC 184

A middleweight bout has been added to the UFC 184 card on February 28th as Mark Munoz will meet Caio Magalhaes in a bout that will likely be on the preliminary card.

The fight booking was announced during Thursday’s UFC Minute on UFC.com.

UFC 184 will come from the Staples Center and will be headlined by Chris Weidman defending the UFC middleweight title against Vitor Belfort.

Munoz (13-5) has dropped back to back fights and three of his last four. Both of his recent defeats have come by stoppage in the opening round and the last defeat came in May against Gegard Mousasi.

Magalhaes (9-1) is currently on a four fight winning streak after losing his UFC debut in 2012. His last two victories have come by TKO/KO in the first round and the most recent victory came last month against Trevor Smith.
