Two new fights have been added to the UFC Fight Night 63 card in early April as Clay Guida meets Robbie Peralta in a featherweight bout and Justin Jones drops to middleweight to meet Ron Stallings.
Both fight bookings were announced by the UFC on Thursday.
UFC Fight Night 63 will come from the Patriot Center in Fairfax, Virginia on April 4 and will be headlined by Chad Mendes meeting Ricardo Lamas in a featherweight bout.
Guida (31-15) has gone 2-2 since dropping to featherweight and is coming off a submission defeat to Dennis Bermudez in July. Both of his wins at featherweight have come by decision with the victories against Hatsu Hioki and Tatsuya Kawajiri. Peralta (18-5, 1NC) is 4-2, 1NC since entering the UFC in 2011 and will enter this fight following a defeat to Thiago Tavares. The defeat to Tavares snapped a two fight winning streak and it was his third career submission defeat.
Jones (3-1) made his UFC debut at light heavyweight on short notice and lost to Ultimate Fighter 19 winner Corey Anderson. Prior to that fight, all of his wins came by stoppage and two of them came by submission. Stallings (12-7, 1NC) also made his UFC debut on short notice as he lost to Uriah Hall earlier this month when he took the fight on six days notice. He has lost back to back fights and he is 5-3 in his last eight fights.
