Earlier this month, Cummins challenged St. Preux for additional drug testing for their upcoming bout and St. Preux responded by saying he would have no problem in doing additional testing for the fight.

Cummins (7-1) recently did an interview with Rick J Lee and discussed about the additional drug testing the UFC plans to implement, along with his challenge to St. Preux.

“The UFC announcing all of the drug testing — doing the random stuff,” Cummins said. “I thought it was a good opportunity to say ‘hey, I do not mind it at all.’ You can test me anytime you want too and let’s make sure my opponent wants to do the same.”

Was part of his call out for St. Preux to take part in additional testing due to Cummins having questions about his opponent?

“I think it’s important for people to step up and be an advocate for being — what a lot of people call cheating,” he said. “The use of PED’s is becoming a problem and a couple guys have been popped for it. I think it’s good to be proactive and say I am willing to do this. Let’s make sure everyone else is on board. It’s not that I thought, ‘oh my opponent is doing something.’ He comes from a college background — college athletic background, same as me. I am sure he is use to it. Just like we thought, he agreed to it right away.”

In addition to talking about the random drug testing challenge in the video below, Cummins talks about his fight against St. Preux and how he would be interested in a fight against Quinton “Rampage” Jackson.
