The scheduled welterweight bout between T.J. Waldburger and Wendall Oliveira at tomorrow’s UFC Fight Night 61 has been scratched following Waldburger becoming ill while cutting weight.
The fight cancelation was revealed prior to the UFC Fight Night 61 weigh-ins today and according to a report by MMA Junkie, both fighters will be paid their show purses for the fight card.
With the Waldburger/Oliveira bout being off the card, the scheduled bantamweight bout between Douglas Silva de Andrade and Cody Gibson has been elevated from the Fight Pass prelims to the televised preliminary card on Fox Sports 1.
