Two new fights have been announced for the UFC Fight Night 62 card in Brazil on March 21 as Katsunori Kikuno meets Kevin Souza in a featherweight bout and Christos Giagos faces Jorge de Oliveira in a lightweight bout.
Both fight bookings were announced by the UFC on Tuesday.
UFC Fight Night 62 will come from the Ginasio do Maracanazinho in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and will be headlined by Demian Maia meeting Ryan LaFlare in a welterweight bout.
Kikuno (23-6-2) entered the UFC as a lightweight last year and after going 1-1, he dropped down to the featherweight division. In his 145 pound debut, he defeated Sam Sicilia by submission at UFC Fight Night 52. Souza (15-3) came to the UFC in 2013 after being the Jungle Fights featherweight champion. He has gone 2-0 in the UFC and is coming off a fight of the night TKO victory in May against Mark Eddiva.
Giagos (10-3) lost his UFC debut in October to Gilbert Burns by submission at UFC 179. It snapped a four fight winning streak and all of his defeats have come by submission. Oliveira (7-1) has lost his UFC debut last year as he was defeated by Dhiego Lima in a welterweight bout. All of his wins have come by stoppage and five of them have come by TKO/KO.
