The main event of UFC Fight Night 69 in Berlin, Germany on June 20 is now official as Alexander Gustafsson meets Glover Teixeira in a light heavyweight bout.
UFC President Dana White confirmed the fight booking in an interview with MMA Crazy TV.
Gustafsson (16-3) is coming off a defeat to Anthony Johnson in January and he is 1-2 in his last three fights. His only victory in his last three fights came in March of last year as he defeated Jimi Manuwa at UFC Fight Night 37.
Teixeira (22-4) has dropped back to back fights after winning 20 in a row. His most recent defeat came in October as he lost a decision against Phil Davis.
UFC Fight Night 69 will come from the O2 World Berlin and ticket information is expected to be announced shortly
