What happened to Minakov vs Volkov II? There’s no way Minakov is still injured. WTF is scott doing with all these tourney winners who were promised title shots? This is insane..

Minakov has been recovering from an injury. You want him to defend his title on short notice or allow Volkov to take a fight and get a paycheck? Fighters don’t get paid to sit at home and not fight.

Yes I want Volkov to make a living, but I’m jw what’s taking so long for Minakov to recover. I want to see Minakov vs Volkov II. More so I want Bellator to treat their fighters better than they are now. But I understand if Minkaov is not read yet and needs more time. Just been a long layoff for him. I feel bad for the guy.

My understanding is that he was just cleared to return to training. He had surgery (I believe on his shoulder). Why do you say “I want Bellator to treat their fighters better than they are now?”

I say that bc they release guys on winning streaks/ undefeated fighters/ guys who only lost 1 or 2 times in their career. And instead they sign guys on 3 or 4 fight losing streaks and keep guys who should have been cut instead. Plus giving title shots to ppl that don’t deserve it instead of ppl who earned it.

As I said before, Coker and his management team are doing what they feel is best for the Bellator business. We may not agree with those decision, but it’s their company. Time will tell if they will succeed. I believe you have allow them time to develop their business plan for Bellator. It’s going to take time for their business plan to come together. That is why you have to give the new regime 12-18 months before deciding if they are the right management team to lead Bellator.
