A bantamweight bout that was scheduled to take place last year has been rebooked for UFC Fight Night 68 in New Orleans as Joe Soto will meet Anthony Birchak.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Wednesday evening.
UFC Fight Night 68 will come from the Smoothie King Center on June 6 and will be headlined by a light heavyweight bout as former title challenger Daniel Cormier meets Ryan Bader.
Soto (15-3) was slated to meet Birchak at UFC 177, but he was moved to the main event of the fight card on weigh-in day to challenge T.J. Dillashaw for the bantamweight title. He would be defeated by knockout in the fifth round and the defeat snapped a six fight winning streak.
Birchak (11-2) enters this fight following a defeat to Ian Entwistle at UFC on FOX 13 in December. The defeat snapped a five fight winning streak and both of his career defeats have come by submission.
The current UFC Fight Night 68: Cormier vs. Bader fight card is below.
