Jason Saggo recently pulled out of his UFC Fight Night 64 against Marcin Bandel due to rupturing his Achilles tendon in training and replacing Saggo in the bout will be UFC newcomer Steven Ray.
The fight change was announced by the UFC on Monday.
UFC Fight Night 64 will come from the Krakow Arena and will be headlined by Mirko Cro Cop meeting Gabriel Gonzaga in a rematch.
Ray (16-5) has won back to back fights and was the Cage Warriors lightweight champion. His most recent win came in November as he defeated Curt Warburton by rear-naked choke submission at Cage Warriors 73. Bandel (13-3) lost his UFC debut last year when he was defeated by Mairbek Taisumov at UFC Fight Night 53. The defeat snapped twelve fight winning streak and all of those wins came by submission in the first round.
