A welterweight bout has been added to the Bellator 140 card on July 17 at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut as Michael Page will meet Rudy Bears on the main card.
The fight booking was initially reported by MMA Junkie earlier today and sources close to the promotion have confirmed the fight booking to The MMA Report.
Bellator 140 will be headlined by a title fight as Douglas Lima will defend the welterweight title against two-time tournament winner Andrey Koreshkov.
Page (7-0) was scheduled to fight at Bellator 134 earlier this year, but he had to pull out of the fight due to a cut. His last fight took place in October of last year as he defeated Nah-Shon Burrell by decision. Bears (16-13) has won back to back fights and this will be his eighth fight in Bellator. His last fight in Bellator was in 2012 when he lost to Paul Daley by TKO.
