Titan FC has announced the signings of two fighters that are expected to make their promotional debuts in June as they have signed Philip Hawes and JZ Cavalcante.
Titan FC CEO Jeff Aronson confirmed the signings to MMA Fighting today and also stated that the promotion is planning to head to Montreal for Titan FC 34 in June.
Hawes (3-0) trains at Team Jackson-Winkeljohn in New Mexico and is a former Junior College National Wrestling champion. All of his wins have come by stoppage and his most recent win came in October against Brandon Collins. Cavalcante (19-8-1, 1NC) recently had his contract with the WSOF expire and his last fight came in September as he defeated Gele Qing at Kungfu Union. He is 4-4 in his last eight fights and both of his wins in WSOF came by stoppage.
In addition, Aronson told MMA Fighting that the date for the Titan FC 34 event has not been confirmed and the card is expected to feature Pat Healy defending the lightweight title against Mike Ricci.
