Zak Cummings vs. Antonio Braga Neto verbally agreed for UFC on FOX 16

A welterweight bout between Ultimate Fighter 17 alum Zak Cummings and Antonio Braga Neto has been verbally agreed for July’s UFC on FOX 16 in Chicago.UFC ON FOX: Logo. CR: FOX SPORTS

The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Friday afternoon.

UFC on FOX 16 will come from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois on July 25th and will be headlined a title rematch as T.J. Dillashaw defends the bantamweight title against former champion Renan Barao.

Cummings (17-4) won back to back fights after being on the reality show and is coming off a submission defeat against Gunnar Nelson last year. The defeat snapped a four fight winning streak and he is 7-2 in his last nine fights. Neto (9-2, 1NC) will also enter this fight following a defeat as he lost to Clint Hester last year. The defeat snapped a five fight unbeaten streak and he is 1-1 in the UFC.
