A featherweight bout has been added to the Bellator 139 preliminary card as Bubba Jenkins will meet Joe Wilk on the June 26 fight card coming from Kansas.
The fight booking was announced by Bellator today.
Bellator 139 will come from the Kansas Star Arena and will be headlined by a heavyweight bout as Cheick Kongo meets former Bellator heavyweight champion Alexander Volkov.
Jenkins (8-2) is coming off a submission defeat in January against Georgi Karakhanyan and the defeat snapped a four fight winning streak. Both of his defeats have come by stoppage and he is 5-2 in Bellator. Wilk (18-10) lost his Bellator debut last year when Ricky Musgrave defeated him by TKO in the first round. He has lost four of his last five fights and his only win during that stretch came last year against Joe Pearson.
