A lightweight bout has been added to the UFC Fight Night 73 card in Nashville on August 8 as Michael Johnson will meet Beneil Dariush on the main card.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Friday.
UFC Fight Night 73 will come from the Bridgestone Arena on August 8 and will be headlined by Ovince St. Preux meeting Glover Teixeira in a battle of top ten UFC light heavyweights.
Johnson (16-8) is currently on a four fight winning streak and three of those wins have come by unanimous decision. His most recent win came in February as he defeated Edson Barboza at UFC Fight Night 61. Dariush (11-1) has also won four straight fights and is 5-1 in the UFC. He is coming off a decision win against Jim Miller and three of his wins in the UFC have come by submission.
