Jessica Aguilar was recently released from her contract with the WSOF and she has reportedly been signed by the UFC and will meet Claudio Gadelha at UFC 190.
The signing and fight booking was reported by Combate on Thursday morning.
UFC 190 will come from the HSBC Arena on August 1st and will be headlined by Ronda Rousey defending the UFC women’s bantamweight title against Bethe Correia.
Aguilar (19-4) is considered one of the top women’s 115 pound fighters and was most recently the WSOF women’s strawweight champion. She has won ten fights in a row and her last win came against Kalindra Faria at WSOF 15. Gadelha (12-1) made her UFC debut last year and won her debut against Tina Lahdemaki. In her last fight, she was defeated by current UFC champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
