A flyweight bout that was reported by various outlets earlier this week has been made official by the UFC as Louis Smolka will meet Paddy Holohan at UFC Fight Night 76.
UFC officials announced the fight booking on Friday.
UFC Fight Night 76 will come from The 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland on October 24 and will be headlined by a lightweight bout as Dustin Poirier meets Joseph Duffy.
Smolka (9-1) has won three of his four fights in the UFC and is currently on a two fight winning streak. He is coming off a decision victory against Neil Seery in July and three of his four fights in the UFC have gone the distance. Holohan (12-1-1) has also gone 3-1 in the UFC and has won back to back fights. His most recent win came in July as he scored a decision against Vaughan Lee.
