An undisclosed injury has forced Rick Story to pull out of his UFC Fight Night 74 co-main event bout against Erick Silva and stepping up on less than two weeks notice to face Silva will be Neil Magny.
The fight change was announced by the UFC on Tuesday.
UFC Fight Night 74 will come from the SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon on August 23 and will be headlined by a featherweight bout as Max Holloway meets Charles Oliveria.
Magny (15-4) enters this fight following a submission defeat at the beginning of the month against Demian Maia. The defeat snapped a seven fight winning streak and was his first defeat since 2013. Silva (18-5, 1NC) has won back to back fights and is 6-4 in the UFC. His most recent win came in March as he submitted Josh Koscheck and all of his wins in the UFC have come by stoppage in the first round.
