A catchweight bout of 160 pounds has been added to the WSOF 23 card next month in Arizona as Phoenix Jones will meet Roberto Yong on the main card.
The fight booking was announced by the WSOF in a press release on Tuesday.
WSOF 23 will come from the Comerica Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona on September 18 and will be headlined by a title fight rematch as lightweight champion Justin Gaethje defends the lightweight title against Luis Palomino.
Jones (5-1-1) lost his WSOF debut in April against Emmanuel Walo and six of his seven fights have made it to the third round. Three of his five wins have come by finish, with two of those victories coming by submission. Yong (2-2) has lost back to back fights after starting his pro career with two straight victories. His most recent defeat came in June against Estevan Payan and both of his defeats have come by stoppage.
