UFC Fight Night 74 took place this past Sunday night at the SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada and was headlined by Max Holloway defeating Charles Oliveira in the first round by TKO.
According to Nielson sources, the main card broadcast on FOX Sports 1 had an average live audience of 796,000 viewers and this is up 16 percent versus the Fight Night from the same weekend last year (Henderson/Dos Anjos on Saturday – 689,000 viewers).
The peak viewership of the broadcast came during the 9:45-10 p.m. ET quarter-hour with 970,000 viewers and the prelims on FOX Sports 1 averaged 542,000 viewers, which is up 3 percent compared to the launch to date average of Fight Night Prelims on the network (528,000).
The UFC will return to FOX Sports 1 next weekend with the televised preliminary card for UFC 191. The prelims will begin at 8 p.m ET/5 p.m. PT and will feature a lightweight bout between Ross Pearson and Paul Felder.
